Course Description
Proutist Economics 1 is an in depth exploration of the economic dimensions of PROUT (the PROgressive Utilization Theory), the holistic socio economic framework developed by philosopher and social thinker P.R. Sarkar. Facilitated by two professional economists who are also lifelong Proutists, this course bridges modern economic analysis with the ethical, ecological, and spiritual vision of Neohumanism.
Participants will explore how a fully realized Prout economy functions, develop foundational economic reasoning skills, and examine how economics can support collective welfare, sustainability, justice, and the holistic development of society. Through discussion based learning, analytical inquiry, and close study of Prout literature, the course moves beyond slogans into deeper conceptual understanding.
Whether you are new to economics or a long time student of Prout, this course offers a rare opportunity to engage rigorously with one of the world’s most comprehensive socio economic visions while developing tools for future Proutist thinking and social transformation.
