Dr. Mark Friedman

Mark Friedman, Ph.D., retired from teaching economics at South Central College in Minnesota, after previously teaching at two universities. He has written extensively on PROUT and has long been active in its promotion, most recently serving on the Steering Committee of the Prout Alliance.

Before beginning his academic career, Dr. Friedman was deeply involved in the cooperative movement and was a founding member of a PROUT-based worker cooperative in Duluth, Minnesota.

In addition to his work in economics and social philosophy, he is also a teacher of yoga and meditation and holds the title Tattvika Mayatiita.
