I’ve been studying Prout for many years and know a great deal about economics. Does this course have anything to offer me?
Yes! Your description matches those of us facilitating the course. We look forward to learning more about Proutist Economics ourselves as the course progresses. We will approach the Proutist Economy in greater depth and detail than any prior approach. We believe this course has much to offer to any Proutist or anyone curious to know more about the Prout economy.
Why isn’t this a course focusing on how Prout ideas can help us find solutions to current problems that arise in Capitalism? Isn’t this the way forward for Proutists?
We agree that a course or courses like that would be extremely valuable. This course is something different. It is an in-depth study of a fully realized Prout economy. P.R. Sarkar gave many discourses focused on describing a complete Prout society. He clearly intended that we understand the nature of Prout and its economy when fully established. Based on those discourse and our economics training we endeavor to develop and extend an in-depth understanding of the Prout economy.
Will I be able to transfer credit from this course to my college/university?
As far as we know there isn’t a direct method for transfer of credits from NHCA to other colleges at this time. However, if your school and advisors will approve an independent study we will do our best to work with you and an advisor or committee from your school. We will give appropriate feedback on the independent study plan, supervise your progress and provide reports to your school regarding your progress and completion.
Is this course part of a larger, more in-depth program?
Yes. While this course is open to all and has no pre-requisites, completion of this course can count towards earning completion certificate in the Transformative Social Sciences Program.
What certifications do I earn upon successful completion of this course?
A Certificate of Completion from the Neohumanist College of Asheville, an affiliate of Ananda Marga Gurukula Network.
What are the requirements for successful completion?
Students must attend a minimum of ~80% of the online virtual classroom sessions. Students will also be required to upload all work to our Google Classroom, for 100% learning activity completion. The course syllabus is the official contract between the student and the instructor regarding expectations for successful completion.
