About the Program
Speaker: Didi Ananda Anuraga
Didi Ananda Anuraga has served as an Acarya since 1989. Thailand was her first posting, and it has remained her home and field of service ever since.
In 2005, she founded a school in the rural town of Sangkhlaburi near the Thai–Myanmar border, which now serves around 250 students from kindergarten through junior high school.
In 2007, she initiated the PICAP project to support the local community. With the generous support of Shambhushivananda, who provided nearby land, the project cares for rescued animals including cats, dogs, monkeys, and other small creatures. It also operates a clinic serving local residents by treating sick pets and rescuing, sterilizing, and rehabilitating abandoned animals in the surrounding area.
She holds a degree in art therapy from the Canadian International Institute of Art Therapy and has completed studies in psychology through Athabasca University, as well as a two-year education program with…
